Thank you for taking the time to visit! My name is Ellen, but my friends call me El. I am a lifestyle photographer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan specializing in portraiture and events (but happy to document any special moment or stage of your life).
I admire the honesty that photography portrays. I've always been interested in capturing people — the way we move and experience moments within our surroundings and with others. Therefore, I'm always anticipating those 'in-between' candid moments.
My style is simple and relaxed; I aim for natural lighting, posing, and locations. The goal is to deliver photographs that will bring you a sense of emotional connection that’ll make you relive that moment all over again.
Outside of taking photos, I’m a big fan of doing anything outside under the sun, creating, exercising, experiencing new places, and traveling.
